This is a night time colour photo in portrait format of a tall, illuminated lighthouse located on a small hill, harbour water in the foreground and a dark caramel coloured sky in the background. Long Beach, California (2012). The dark waters of the harbour rise from the base of the photo, upwards to a little less than the one quarter up level, where the boundary between the water an distant shore is ill defined. The camera is located on the near shore, a few metres above the water and angled at the distant shore and lighthouse. The jet black water is rippled with the six long reflections from the small street lights on the shore. One further and shorter reflection is blue from the illuminated lighthouse. Above the shore and just less than the halfway up level is a path that slopes upwards gently from the right to the left. Along this path are four of the cylindrical poles with a light on top. Behind the path is the small hill with the lighthouse on top, in the centre of the photo and
