A wonderful day. 13 km of hike. The lake of Kasmacheuskae and so on. It's located on the border of 3 regions: Vitebsk, Mahileu and Minsk. We were lucky to taste a highly ripe lingonberries.

Cyanocitta stelleri like to cut off bunches of Sambucus racemosa to eat the berries in private. Not all of them are great at picking ripe bunches 😅

A taste of Autumn.

A bunch of mainly ripe Blackberries on a bramble. Most have now gone over or shriveled by lack of rain. These look nice and juicy though !

Branches of a European rowan tree (Sorbus aucuparia) in a park in Kannelmäki, Helsinki, heavily laden with clusters of vivid red berries. The green, feather-like leaves and twisting dark branches fill most of the frame, with patches of pale blue and cloudy late-summer sky visible between them.

Scanty, tiny blackberries with sparse druplets, amid scruffy remains of flowers that never set, are a sad reminder of how droughty it has been in the Evergreen State. The black and red berries are set among still abundant green, palmate and dentate leaves and thorny stems. Slim pickings this year.

I took a really decent picture of some berries yesterday when we went on a little walk. (:

I would like you to rate my berry picture from 1-10. 1 is trash, ten is sublime for a cloudy day. :P

A picture of a grouping of red berries hanging from a freble stem in a field of similiar berries growing from a bed of moss. The day is cloudy, bit the colors of green and red are vibrant and lovely. Red huckleberry in the forest understory of Redwood National and State Parks yesterday. The berries are just beginning to appear in this part of the park. This photograph shows two red berries (center right foreground and center left background) with sections of green stem and leaves making up the remainder of the picture. Subdued lighting leads to an overall cool minty green color despite the high noon timing of the photo taking. Evergreen huckleberry in the forest understory of Redwood National and State Parks yesterday. The berries are just beginning to appear in this part of the park. This photograph shows a deep blue berry (center) and a lighter green berry (left) lit by the sun, with sections of reddish -brown stem and green leaves making up the remainder of the picture. The background is generally not in focus, but shows a few additional branches and dappled sunlight on the forest floor. A location with ready access to sun and water resulted in this individual plant having a good amount of berries relative to neighboring shrubs.
