Into the Woods for

A wide gravel footpath curves into a woodland with towering pine trees and shorter trees with dense foliage under a moody, overcast sky. The path is bordered on either side by stone walls that have been completely overgrown with thick, wild plants including ferns and bracken, some of which have turned a deep autumnal rust colour.

Day 257

Autumn on the promenade.

A symmetrical, octagonal gazebo stands on a paved beachfront promenade in Wales. The centre of the gazebo is made of brick with windbreaker walls between wooden benches. It is topped with a tiered, slate-shingled roof which is supported by wooden pillars that reach to the ground. In the background are tall amber dune grasses under a moody, overcast sky.

A wide view of rolling Welsh hills. The foreground is densely covered with bright yellow gorse, deep purple heather, vivid green bilberry, and light orange dried heath grasses. To the right, a rocky, craggy ridge rises up covered in reddish-orange dried bracken.
