(Feuer-)Hydrant » (Fire)

An abandoned, peeling fire hydrant surrounded by dense green foliage and ferns. The rusty hydrant's yellow paint is peeling unevenly to reveal patches of red paint and rust underneath. Just above it, a black wooden arrow sign points to the left with the handwritten white text, "This way to happiness and love."

Day 254

+

A last minute twilight episode of for today.

A close-up shot of a single green fern frond centered vertically against a pastel gradient sky. The sky smoothly transitions from a soft, warm pink at the bottom to light violet on the middle to a deep twilight blue at the very top. The individual green leaflets of the fern are sharply focused and the veins can be seen through the backlight.

A top down, macro shot of a drying amber fern leaf in autumn. The central stem runs vertically through the image with symmetrical leaflets fanning out on either side. The blurred background is dark and moody making the golden frond pop.

Eine üppig grüne Schlucht bei La Ferrière im Kanton Bern.

Z 7_2 | 14 mm | f/8 | 15 | ISO 64 | 20.08.2026
