The person on the right is holding their fishing rod that extends diagonally up and across, passing near the centre of the photo and with the fishing line hanging vertically to the left of centre and glowing from the light of the setting sun. In the middle ground are the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean with small waves disturbing the surface. Below the centre and slightly to the right, fifteen metres away, is a large metal navigation buoy with at least one large seal or sea lion on the right side causing the buoy to tilt to the right. A river with grassy banks on both sides. Foreground is a mowed grassy area. There is a tree with green leaves on the right of the frame. There are some rocks along the banks of the river. In the middle of the frame, on the near bank, is a fisherman with blue shorts, a red shirt, a white hat, and a dark backpack. The fisherman is relatively small in the frame.
